- July 2010 – Co-founded Onehood
- June 2010 – Moved to San Francisco!
- May 2010 – Created phashion, Ruby wrapper for the pHash library.
- April 2010 – Created bayes_motel, Bayesian classification for Ruby.
- March 2010 – Created phat, the world’s first asynchronous, event-driven Rails application.
- February 2010 – Added EventMachine support to the memcache-client, cassandra and rsolr gems.
- February 2010 – Created em-resolv-replace, event-driven DNS resolution for Ruby.
- January 2010 – Spoke at Austin on Rails, “Scalable Ruby Processing with EventMachine“.
- January 2010 – Created em_postgresql, the first event-driven ActiveRecord driver for Postgresql.
- December 2009 – Created evented, my Github repository for EventMachine samples and examples.
- November 2009 – Attended RubyConf 2009, placed 15th out of 54 in the RubyConf 5k, in 24:15!
- September 2009 – Spoke at LoneStarRubyConf, Austin TX, “Checking under the Hood: A Guide to Rails Engines”
- March 2009 – Left FiveRuns, started new job as Rubyist at OneSpot
- March 2009 – memcache-client 1.6.x integrated into Rails 2.3
- February 2009 – memcache-client 1.6.x released
- December 2008 – data_fabric 1.2 – support for ActiveRecord 2.2
- November 2008 – Spoke at Raleigh.rb, Raleigh, NC, “Patterns in Distributed Computing”
